WOLFSHADOW
this was down-right, absolutely ridiculous!
the fact that his apprentice hadn't arrived at the camp entrance was an absurd fact that he wasn't going to tolerate. even so, he was given a small thing as an apprentice? what had falconstar been thinking when he assigned him an apprentice? the tom felt a rumble deep down in his throat that he swallowed. no, he wasn't going to do this, not now. he wasn't going to question what the thunderclan leader was thinking or speak out about it. despite the tom having been leader for around a moon, that meant nothing. he knew falconstar was a good, fair warrior and having the transition from deputy to leader didn't change things, didn't change him.
taking in a deep breath, the gray tabby tom let out a heavy sigh as he let his mind wander and his tail lash across the soft ground beneath him. it was a beautiful day, he didn't have to deal with chipmunktooth, as much as he was starting to like the tom, and ivypaw was off with her own mentor doing starclan knew what. there was another rumble in his throat at the thought of ivypaw out there without him. he swore if her mentor did anything to get her hurt, falconstar wouldn't have to punish him because he'd take his niece and leave the clan. no, he couldn't do that to chipmunktooth either. great starclan, why did he have to care about someone other than ivypaw?
with a flick of his ear, wolfshadow turned his amber gaze towards the camps entrance once again, waiting for the small tortoiseshell form of his apprentice, kestrelpaw, to come through and apologize profusely for her tardiness. wait, was she even tardy? this was just ridiculous, wolfshadow thought at the comments of his own mind as he waited for his apprentice. the sooner they got started, the sooner he could return and find ivypaw to see how her day went.
